Spring Garden Wedding Inspiration with Printed Fabric Menus
Pretty pastel colours from this spring garden wedding inspiration and the theme was a perfect fit for our printed fabric menus. Think dreamy styling, rose gold touches and all set at the beautiful Middleton Hall – we were thrilled to be involved!
Stylist and shoot coordinator Katie from The Vintage House That Could tells us about this spring garden wedding shoot…
“The moment a couple book me I start to think about the time of year that the wedding is, what the venue will look like at this time and what flowers will be in season.”
“When Becky and I decided to plan a Spring shoot I knew I wanted it to be outside and the walled gardens at Middleton Hall were perfect. A few weeks later and the wisteria would have been in full bloom but I was too impatient, plus I wanted Magnolia and we know how short lived that is!”
“I styled the table with an abundance of romantic roses, pastel plates and delicate vintage glasses. The seed packet favours from Grace Alexander looked perfect with the freshly picked Hellebores and my hand made flower trapped Perspex place names fitted the theme.”
“I have wanted to work with Jacqui at Peonies & Paperclips for years, her hand-illustrated stationery is a thing of beauty and she sent me some of the most jaw droppingly beautiful pieces to work with. We styled these up in the light filled greenhouse amongst the cuttings and rustic plant pots.”
“Another amazing supplier that I wanted to include was Heidi at Extra Special Touch. I asked her to create the stunning menus on linen, which kindly blew perfectly in the breeze whilst Becky shot.”
“I changed up the table from roses to magnolia half way through and I love how both work and how simple branches can create such a perfect look and Becky has captured the feeling of Spring with her shots effortlessly.”
“Middleton Hall is a bit of a hidden gem, just outside Tamworth, Staffordshire, you can hire out the hall for weddings and have a marquee on the lawn. The gardens however are magical and perfect at any time of the year.”
