“My napkins haven’t arrived.” Tracking says deliv “My napkins haven’t arrived.” Tracking says delivered. Customer says definitely not here. Cue panic. I calmly (on the outside 😂) check the tracking. There are delivery coordinates, so I start investigating where the parcel has actually ended up… Then another email arrives. “Don’t worry - they’re here!” PHEW!!! I think I aged five years in five minutes. When you’re sending personalised napkins for weddings and events with a date that can’t move, a missing parcel is enough to send your heart rate through the roof. Thankfully, today’s delivery drama had a happy ending. To be honest, in my 17 years doing this, only 1 parcel has gone completely missing, and we always try to allow a few extra days in case of delays. A little holiday treasure hunt at Dorchester Curio A little holiday treasure hunt at Dorchester Curiosity Centre — a huge antiques and vintage centre packed with furniture, collectables, tableware, textiles and all sorts of unexpected finds. Naturally, I headed straight for the vintage linens, embroidery, napkins and anything remotely suitable for a tablescape. I found some silver-plated napkin rings and the sweetest little swan place-card holders… Did I need them? Probably not. Are they coming home for the tablescape stash?
