You should have heard the excitement in the studio You should have heard the excitement in the studio when my friend, who sells antiques, arrived with a bundle of antique French embroidery magazines and patterns. Page after page of the most beautiful old monograms, decorative lettering and embroidery designs… obviously we immediately started imagining them stitched onto napkins and handkerchiefs. There’s something I absolutely love about taking a design from the past and giving it a new life, especially when it can become part of someone’s wedding or a piece they’ll keep for years. A little appreciation post for my amazing team ❤️ A little appreciation post for my amazing team ❤️ This week has been incredibly busy in the studio! With two of the team heading off on holiday this weekend, we had a huge amount of napkins, bows and orders that needed to be finished before they went - which has meant early mornings, late nights and everyone pulling together to make sure we hit our deadlines. These photo make the studio look far more serene t These photo make the studio look far more serene than it feels this week… ! It’s been a busy one behind the scenes! We’re currently making napkins and bows for three events happening next week, alongside custom embroidered lace wedding signage, bespoke-sized lace doilies for silver trays… and, of course, all the everyday orders of personalised napkins and wedding hankies. Add in the school holiday juggle and my desk definitely doesn’t look quite this calm right now! I know I’m a little behind on emails and DMs. I still personally answer around 99% of them - with some brilliant help from my VA on the day-to-day enquiries, because I really do like speaking to you about your ideas, weddings and orders myself. It’s National Dog Day! 🐾 And the timing couldn’t It’s National Dog Day! 🐾 And the timing couldn’t be more perfect, because this week we’ve been working on some very special custom dog wedding pieces… which are strictly top secret! But they gave us an idea. Why should the dogs miss out on the table details? So we whizzed up this little Poodle cocktail napkin especially for today, and I think we might be slightly obsessed. 🐩 Imagine cocktail napkins embroidered with your own dog… their little face stitched into linen and brought out for drinks, dinner parties and special occasions for years to come.
