We loved to work with stylists and event companies, to create bespoke pieces to fit their clients personality. So when Alice got in touch from LAY London, we jumped at the chance to make these fun pieces for their modern twist on Valentines Day in lockdown.
A few words from Alice at LAY London, about what they can offer you and their inspiration behind their modern Valentine tablescape.
“We launched LAY London last year, as the city’s first tablescape rental service. Our mission is to re-imagine the way we host, offering beautiful and easy to rent tableware to be enjoyed at any time. Our motto is ‘Rent, Host, Return’! Growing focus and creativity is now placed on the table (even more so this past year!) and so we wanted to help bring a bit of magic to at-home dining. We have had such fun bringing together beautiful, artisan tableware from all over the world.”
“We have curated tablescapes that are joyful and colourful, as we want to transform the room! We love the element of surprise when clients see their table for the first time, and have the feeling of being ‘transported’ somewhere else. Adding bold and bright décor definitely adds a sense of occasion, making it all the more memorable. “
“For lockdown Valentine’s, we wanted to create something fun and a little tongue-in-cheek, what with everyone staying at home this year. One table we created with Gal-entine’s celebrations in mind, for locked-down friends. For this we paired our block-print floral tablecloths with rose-gold plates and pink hydrangeas, adding napkins with cheeky slogans. And covering the table with love-heart sweets too, naturally!”
