Your Wedding at The Sloane Club: Three Ways to Style Your Wedding Tables

We’re very excited to have recently joined The Sloane Club’s recommended suppliers, so when we were invited to showcase our work at their wedding open day, we couldn’t wait to create something as beautiful and prestigious as the place itself.

Located in the heart of Chelsea, The Sloane Club is a Members’ Club with a beautiful collection of spaces for private events and celebrations. The Club describes itself as a contemporary take on its long-established roots, and its private event spaces offer everything from intimate dinners to larger celebrations.

For the open day, we worked alongside event stylists The Social Kitchen and florist Hayton Posey and created linens and accessories for three different luxury tablescapes. Three completely different colour palettes. Three different moods. And three different ways to use embroidered napkins and personalised details.

Winter Romance

The first table embraced the winter season, but in a sophisticated way. Deep greens, rich reds, ferns and gold created a beautiful table, with natural elements including acorns and Christmas pine.

This table featured both our venue napkins and our plain hemstitch linen napkins, which were both paired with our personalised velvet bows, embroidered with emblems and names. These added an extra layer of interest to the tables and showcased the different embroidery which we can create for your wedding at The Sloane Club.

We absolutely loved this finished table; it was styled with winter weddings in mind but didn’t rely on an overly festive feel. The combination of deep colour, greenery, candlelight and gold created a beautiful atmospheric table that oozed sophistication and opulence.

Green on Green

Different shades of green created a beautiful second table, proving that one main colour is all you really need with a backdrop like The Sloane Club. Layered greenery and florals added depth and drama; paired with crisp white linens and tonal personalised velvet bows, it created a table that felt both luxurious and fresh.

For this table, we used our white hemstitch and ruffle-edged napkins in two different ways. Some were left plain and finished with personalised velvet name bows, while others had the guest’s name embroidered directly onto the napkin. There isn’t one right way to personalise your table; you could choose a monogram, a guest name, a family crest or a special motif. Muted Summer

The third table couldn’t have been more different. Muted coral, creams and soft pinks created a much lighter and more romantic look, with layers of colour and texture giving the table a dreamy, frothy feel.

Here, our monogrammed napkins with couples’ initials were paired with velvet bows embroidered with individual guest names. It’s a beautiful example of how personalisation can become part of the overall styling rather than simply being an added extra. A monogram on the napkin gives the table a sense of occasion, and a personalised bow is the perfect place name for a luxury wedding.
