A Modern Wedding Tablescape with Heirloom Lace Accessories
There’s something so beautiful about combining heirloom lace textures with modern design, and this stunning editorial does exactly that. Set against the rustic, contemporary backdrop of The Barn At Botley Hill, the styling brings together delicate lace, romantic details, and thoughtful embroidery to create a wedding look that feels both timeless and fresh. It was the perfect inspiration for us to be part of. We incorporated pieces from our Studio Napkin Collection alongside our lace heirloom accessories, a combination that was perfect for the vision.
At the heart of the design was a unique triangular table layout, a modern approach that felt both intimate and visually striking. The concept, as described by the team, was all about “reimagining traditional wedding styling with a contemporary edge,” and the perfect way to do this was with a blend of heirloom lace, crisp contemporary finishes and soft and romantic details. It was the perfect brief for us to create the most beautiful details for.
Our lace Welcome to Our Wedding Sign set the tone beautifully from the very beginning. Crafted from soft fabric (from our local Nottingham lace factory) and finished with delicate embroidery, it offers a luxe alternative to traditional signage. A personal approach that will ‘wow’ your guests from the moment they enter. It’s a piece designed not just to be seen, but to be remembered, and it was perfectly in keeping with the romantic feel of the day.
On the tables, we styled bespoke napkins from our Studio Napkin Collection. We chose our plain ivory scallop design as the base and finished it with a lime embroidered edge to complement the colour palette perfectly and bring a fresh feel to this modern wedding tablescape.
What makes these napkins so special is their versatility. Whether finished with a clean plain hem, a subtle hemstitch-effect, or a more decorative scalloped edge, they bring a softness and refinement that complements both modern and traditional tablescapes. Each one is made to order in our Nottingham studio, ensuring every detail is considered and beautifully finished.
